Shilpa Shetty turns 36

Hot Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty turns 36 on Wednesday.

The gorgeous actress had made her debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in 'Baazigar' in 1993 but her career never reached the height till she gained fame after participating in the British celebrity reality show Big Brother in 2007.

Shetty was crowned the winner of the show after a racism controversy which involved her and fellow contestants Jade Goody, Jo O'Mearaand Danielle Lloyd.

She has charmed her audience not only by her electrifying figure but also her acting skills in films like 'Phir Milenge', 'Life in a Metro', ‘Dhadkan’.

The B-town diva also gained popularity via her item numbers in films like ‘Shool’, ‘Kushi’, ‘Dostana’.

Shetty, who co-owns the Indian Premiere League (IPL) team Rajasthan Royals, had a sad encounter in the cricketing field in 2011 as her team could not qualify to the semi-final stage of the cash-rich cricket league.

She married to businessman Raj Kundra in 2009.

It was rumored that Shetty and Kundra were expecting their first child, but the actress brushed off the reports.

"Sick and tired of all the congratulatory msgs and calls,so for the last time "I AM NOT PREGNANT".all this is so annoying..grrrrrrrrr," she posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Shetty, who released a DVD on yoga a couple of years back, runs a spa called Iosis in Mumbai with her friend Kiran Bawa.

Bollywood beauty, Shilpa Shetty dismissed all rumours about her pregnancy that was hitting the headlines these days.
Sick and tired of all the congratulatory msgs and calls,so for the last time "I AM NOT PREGNANT".all this is so annoying..grrrrrrrrr,"she declared on twitter.

"To al my followers"IF,HOW n WHEN I WISH 2 make any personal announcmnt,is entirely MY(nt the Press) Prerogatve!As of now there's none 2 make," Shilpa tweeted.

"I do kno I am in the public domain,nd every1s curious,bt these r sensitive issues,hence wud appreciate the press respects my privacy.Thnks," she added.

It was rumored that Shilpa and her husband Raj Kundra were expecting their first child, but Shilpa negated all those reports at once.

The Bollywood beauty married to businessman Raj Kundra in 2009.

Shilpa Shetty's estate taken over by squatter gang

A private estate in Britain that is home to a host of celebrities - including Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty - is reportedly being taken over by a gang of squatters.
The celebrity residents of the St. George's Hill community in Weybridge, Surrey, are now being asked to be "vigilant" following the arrival of the squatters, the Daily Mail reported.

Former residents of the estate include singer Elton John, former Beatle Ringo Starr and Hollywood actress Kate Winslet.

Six squatters reportedly moved into the abandoned three million pound, six-bedroom Woodlawn Cottage on the exclusive estate in April, and claim they were not acting illegally.

The property was reportedly abandoned six years ago and has since become derelict. The squatters say they plan to stay as long as possible.

"It is legal for me to be here. I found the place on Google maps so I came up to have a look and the place was open. The locks had been broken off, no one was living here, it was completely open - so why not?" a squatter named Stefan Cybulski said.

Homeowners now say they want the illegal movers out.

"It does seem pretty extraordinary that the police can't do anything to get these people off the estate," a resident said.

"They have no right to be here, yet the law appears to be on their side - it's completely wrong."

Properties on the estate are worth nearly 10 million pounds.

A security guard is now being employed to keep the property under surveillance. Police have set up extra patrol of the area.

Last week, the grapevine was abuzz that Shilpa, and her businessman husband, Raj Kundra, are expecting their first child together. They tied the knot in November 2009.

Initially, Shilpa chose to deny the news in a subtle manner.

She tweeted: "To all my followers 'If, how and when I wish to make any personal announcement, is entirely MY (not the press') prerogative! As of now there's none to make.

"I do know I am in the public domain, and everyone is curious, but these are sensitive issues, hence would appreciate the press respects my privacy. Thanks."

The actress is busy cheering for her Indian Premier League (IPL) team Rajasthan Royals these days.
